Bloom in the new decade...


We talk a lot around here about mindset. And even more importantly... how staying PRESENT is key.


As we head into the new year, and as you may have already started thinking about your "resolutions" or goals for 2020... how about if we all eliminate the whole "new year, new you" mindset and INSTEAD focus on goals that will make you the BEST version of YOU. Because let's face it... you're already pretty darn AMAZING.


The only way to love yourself though, is to fall in love with the person you are today... right here, right now... where ever that might be in your journey.


It can be all too easy to compare your own journey with someone else's. It can be all too easy to compare your beginning to someone else's been there, done that. It can be all too easy to think that when you achieve a certain goal or milestone, that THEN you'll love yourself more or then you'll be happier with your body.



I read something the other day I thought I'd share...


Nobody ever talks about this part.

You know, the part where you're no longer a caterpillar, not yet a butterfly.


You don't know who you are and you don't know where you're going. All you know is that every fiber of your being is calling for transformation. For disruption. For a revolution of the spirit. So surrender. Break down.


This is not the death of you. This is the dying of who you once were.

This is your rebirth, darling.

We're all here in this life to BLOOM. Each of us has our own journey to walk though, and will most certainly look very different from everyone else's. But acknowledge that it is during our times of the most growth that things can feel uncomfortable, icky or painful... and love yourself where you are right now.



What are some things you plan for 2020 that will make you the best version of you? They may or may not be fitness-related. They may be things like spending less time on social media... saying NO more often... devoting time to hobbies... etc.
