Half empty or half full?

It's July and we're officially at the halfway point on the calendar as of the first of the month!

You could look at this year as being half over OR being halfway to a new year.

You could look at this year so far and focus on the goals you haven't achieved OR you could look at the rest of the year as an opportunity to start again.

The glass is either half full or half empty... it's all about how you perceive it.

Your mindset is the catalyst to how you view the world around you. It can cause you to feel encouraged or it can cause you to feel unnecessarily defeated.

Could you use an extra dose of motivation to finish the year strong? Are you ready for a mid-year fresh start? Or are you already happy with how 2021 has unfolded for you so far?

It's probably safe to say we all fall somewhere into a combination of all of these feelings. And we can assure you that you're not alone.

Trust us, we get it. But we're here to encourage you, inspire you to get up and get moving and push you out of your comfort zone. It's a push we could ALL use sometimes.

As we head through the rest of this month, we encourage you to think about the goals you started the year with... what you've already accomplished and perhaps make an updated list of things that may require a fresh start.

We encourage you to not look at the things you haven't accomplished as a failure, but merely as a chance to start again. Failure only happens when you never try at all.

Trying on the other hand, does lead to success if continued effort and determination is there!

On another note about this halfway mark... you know what we're loving right now? Seeing more of you come back through the doors and into classes again! One thing we all agree on is that it can be a lot more motivating to workout alongside others, than to try to workout at home alone. The energy in a group fitness class is immeasurable and undeniable!

As class sizes continue to increase, we also listen to your needs with schedule changes and class offerings. YOU are our priority and we truly care about your success in achieving your health goals!

As you reflect on your year so far... we also encourage you to really take some time to consider the following...

When is the last time you tried something new?

When is the last time you stepped outside your comfort zone?

How often do you let the fear of failure stop you from trying new things?

How often do you find yourself saying things like, "that's not me," "I have no rhythm," "I'm not a yoga person," "I'm not a dancer," "I could never do that."

How often do you let the fear of looking like a beginner stop you from possibly becoming an old pro?

How often do you label yourself before you've even tried?

We ALL start somewhere.

NO ONE starts off as a pro.

And even "pros" continue to challenge themselves by pushing harder or trying new things.

And well... you just never know if you might find something new that you like unless you try!

We also encourage you to walk back through the doors for classes again if you haven't joined us for awhile! Check out our pricing page for specials on the website and maybe even encourage a friend to join you too!

Our glass is half full and we're ready for a strong mid-year fresh start!

How about you?
